N95 battery life, what's the story ?

Hello all- I have heard bad things about the battery life in the initial reports, has there been some kind of upgrade, new battery, etc ??
If this is not an issue anymore and the battery has been sorted to what the initial reports stated then someone please link me to the results.
Everyone seems to be hot in the trousers for this mobile but it will be useless with a sub standard battery.
