The Music Player on my N93 plays MP3s okay from the beginning, but if I fast forward, I cannot resume playback.
The "Pause" symbol ( || ) flashes to Play ( > ) briefly, then returns to pause.
Installing the latest firmware did not fix the problem.
It used to work. I was listening mostly to Podcasts, which are upwards of forty minutes long, and liked to skip ahead and back. But now, once I fast forward or rewind, the player wants to start at the beginning.
The behavior is the same whether I use the 5-way control on the face of the phone or the one on the side under the camera button.
Any suggestions?
