N91 Music Quality

What makes the N91 the best "Music-Phone" for music playback, quality-wise?

1) Superior DAC (Digital to Analog Converter)?
2) Less "quality loss" sinc eit uses a 3.5mm jack (instead of Pop Port-to-3.5mm converter)?

well its a mystery! Its unbelievable. Wiki search "Dynamic Range Compression". However I belive thats not it. I dont understand how it kinda produces a surround sound on my Bose headphones. Ipod sounds so-so only.

N91 has Nokia developed algoriths - one of those is stereo widenning, which I like. It does create surround sound effect.

I really don\'t know. But it has fantastic sound when you get some proper headphones (Sony MDRs are good usually) as I\'ve had plenty of problems with the supplied HS-28s. The remote isn\'t that good either (the AD-36) so if anyone knows of a better one I can buy without spending like ?100 on the wireless bluetooth one..
But another thing to consider, it\'s certainly built to last. Mine has been in the pond (don\'t ask), bashed up and it still works perfect.
