N80ie & WPA

[YEA I GOT MY BFP]

has anyone connected their N80ie via WPA to a wireless router, I have no problem connecting it via WEP (64 bits or 128 bits), but I can't do it via WPA.

I am not doing any MAC filtering on the router...

In my case, WPA2 would not but WPA will.

But, I have to use TKIP, not AES for the cipher.

WPA w/AES works fine with my D-Link DI-624 and N80, but WPA2 does not.

Since WPA w/AES is practically equivalent to WPA2, I don't feel I'm compromising security too much.

yea i had a few issues with WPA2 aswell, not only with the phone but with another laptop too. so i have just setup WPA with mac filtering.

Have you guys ever had connection problem to Gizmo over any WPA routers ?
