n80 internet question

im thinking of buying an n80 but i have a few questions. first how does the wlan think work? it it like my laptop where i can pick up connections from hotspots (like school) and connect to it? also how is the internet on the n80. is it like a computer were you can see full pages or is it like other cell phones where the page is edited for cell phones and u can only go to some links and such? ty in advance
 
about connecting. you have three types:
1)open network (no configuration is required, you just slect the network and start browsing.
2)you have secure networks: when the browser find this and you select it, you willhave to enter a wpa or wep key. It would be handy if you manually entered this and configured it before hand so no entering a key is necesary.
3)Secure home network...just pre configure it.
 
I dont mean to hi jack this guys thread but I have a question related to the wifi on my n80. Has anyone compared their n80 wifi compared to a laptop? While im at school there are people sitting there on their laptops browsing the web using the schools wifi, whereas I have to go to only certain locations where I know I can get a signal. Is it just that the wifi antenna on a laptop is stronger than that of my n80?
 
Your phone does not have the strength that a laptop has (battery, etc) so it has a more limited range than a traditional laptop. That is why you can not get the signal as well as the laptop users around you.
 
There is VPN client for N80, too. But you have to build vpn policy yourself.

N80 browser support html, so you can browse any webpage.

One of the things that N80 can't do is to watch YouTube videos.
