N80 Battery Improvement Tutorial

For all the N80 users out there, or people that want to purchase an N80 but fear that the battery might not be at par..this concerns you:

Can we have a list of ways complied into this thread that improve battery life on the N80? For example, some may suggest a firmware update, some may suggest turning off 3G or wlan search or something. If we can get it all in one thread, it'll be much easier to find and it'll also be a good way for current N80 users to learn more ways to get more juice out!

I'll start:

1) Lower screen brightness.(This should get you 1.5 times more battery hours

2) Set to GSM mode instead of Dual mode or 3G

3) Set Bluetooth to off when not in use.

4) make sure the phone does not detect wifi unless u are using wap

5) Don't use large mp3/aac/wma files as ringtones. Use smaller sizes and lower bit rate.

Make sure firmware is up-to-date.
Turn on sleep mode.

10 batteries? its not like u are going on an airplane trip to asia...well i doubt the phone can stand that long during the trip if u keep listening to mp3's
