I used to have the N80 and N800. They are both handsdown the most frustrating devices that I have ever used. The N80 had a nice screen and camera, but everything else was very uninspiring. The phone was slow even after multiple firmware updates. The camera was never with using because it was so clumsy to use unlike the iPhones camera. The music player was also terrible so I ended up using an iPod shuffle. The worst part about theN80 was the battery life. I live in the US so I couldn't use 3G, but even with it off the battery barely lasted a day. The wifi was nice but in practice navigating sites on a tiny screen with a hrdware buttons sucked. I ended up getting the N800 thinking I would solve the problems. The N800 handsdwn the worst product I have ever used. I dont know why they bothered shipping it. The email client could barely load 50 messages without crashing, and trying to read new mail wasn't even possible. There was no way to tell it to not los all the mail on my server. I had to get gmail to only show mail from a few days before otherwise it couldn't hanlde it. The rss reader was equally bad. It crashed contantly and was very slow. The browsers sucked also. Flash was there but barely usable. The stylus made naglvigating a pain if the text was small. The zoom on the N800 has nothing on the iPhone. The iPhone renders when you zoom but the N800 just looked all blurt. The this party apps sucked except for GAIM, and the virtual keyboard had nothing on the iPhone. I had I foralmost a monthand I can type faster onethe iPhone in a week. I have had many phones, T68i, T610, RAZR, CSK, SK2, SK3, and the N80. I am big on qwerty keyboards and I think the sidekicks had the best keyboards, but now it is time to move on and let go of old technology. Ive had ipaqs, palms, and the all sucked. I had an axim v51 and all the 3rd party apps that ppl want so badly cost too much of sucked. The iPhone handsdown is the only gadget to impress me lately. I gave away the N80 for free after hating it so much, and I sold the N800 on ebay for a loss. The N95 was on my list until the iPhone came out. Personally, I think Nokia has a lot of work to do if they want my business again. By the way, this post was made on my iPhone.
