N80-1 light?

Hello all. i just bought the black n80, so far pretty good. i think it was from hk or something. i can switch back and forth from chinese and english.

when my phone is idle, sometimes i noticed the blinking blue led light just right below the n80 letters. why is this? when i take a look at my phone, no missed calls, voice messages or text. is there a way to turn it off? just wondering, thanks!
 
It's not to alert you of any messages or phone calls. It's a powersaving feature. To save battery they completely turn of the phone and to let you know that the phone is stiill on that light glows....just to let you know that it is still on.
