n75 application closure??

i have read a few times about making sure applications are closed in order to save memory on this new N75...
how do you make sure they get closed??
i understand, hitting the back or red end key isn't suffice!!
if applications are open and running, but you think you closed out, how can one find out if they are open and how do you make sure to close them??
 
next time, learn to do some search 1st will ya....

but i am feeling good today, i got lots of sleep from waiting for FP2... press the menu button until a window pops up, which shows the running apps, hit the "C" or close button and it will ask you if you want to close the running app...
 
i appreciate it,, when i press the menu button like you say,, i see :
1. idle screen
2. music
when i scrool to music and press the "c" button.. nothing happens!!???
sup with that??
