N73ME Ringtone Problem

I've just got a N73ME about a week ago, I'm experiencing an intermittent ringtone issue, where the ringtone does'nt work occassionally, the vibrator worls and if I hold the phone to my ear I can hear the speaker on(a slight hiss) but theres no tone playing. I re-installed my firmware since an update is'nt available for my area code my current software being 3.0638.0.0.30. My 3D surround sound is enabled for ringtones, could this be the problem?

i doubt 3D tones are creating problems, cuz i have been using 3D tones since i got my N73ME few days ago, and i dont have any such issue! try moving the tones you use to phone memory and see if that helps, im sure it will!

Its intermittent as I said and if I restart the phone, the ringtone works again. So I doubt it has anything to do with the mem card, seems more like a software glitch, but nobody else has suffered from the same problem so its a mystery to me....lol. Thanks for you help btw. Also whats the code on your ME? Maybe we're running different firmwares.

Anw off topic, answer to your posted question, I did the same thing(installing removing apps) the phone went totally slow, only solution was clearing the memroy and I topped it with a firmware reinstall

well i am running V3.0638.0.30, thats the latest FW version for 0543843 product code, which is for Indian version FW i guess (or APAC) cuz i tried NSU and it said that i am running the latest FW!

off topic, which memory u cleared? fone memory or card? my fone is running ok i guess, so i wont go for reinstalling or master reset for now!
