n73 TO n95

Hey guys

I was thinking of selling my N73 and getting an N95. I already placed a thread in the BUY SELL lounge but ..my rare brown/mocha N73 is my favorite phone ever and I don't know if I will like the N95. Anybody else having the same thoughts?

Today I found out that I have free Internet at Edge speeds (dsl speeds) and using Google Maps I was able to use my N73 as a navigation tool for free, at no cost whatsoever. Hmm...it's something to ponder about
 
I can not believe the number of threads concerning this phone, I am certainly not as knowledgeable as most here but is this phone not coming out sometime next year, I mean quite a while yet ?
Although it certainly would not surprise me if Nokia rushed the phone out, bugs and all without even bothering to fix or update past problems. Their attitude seems to be "Lets release 50 mediocre mobiles, as opposed to 10 solid mobiles as we can make more money that way". Yes they are a business and in it to make money after all, once the purchase is done so is the damage.
The thing that I do not get is why in regards to this N95 would hey make a screen of 2.6" and keep it at 240X320 resolution ??? Complete insanity and the sharpness and quality will suffer tremendously, the N73 screen is just so-so in my opinion and this upcoming phone will be worse if the figures are correct.

re-read his post and dont edit, he said brown/mocha..LOL i its rare because i believe it doesnt exists... BTW it may be a marketing scheme..
 
I agree with you regarding the screen resolution. For such a powerful and updated phone I would have thought they would have gone with a VGA screen.
 
Sorry I meant to say White/Mocha. I think it's better than the silver, and I consider it rare cuz you can barley get your hands on a white/mocha that's made in Finland. Most are made by nokia or china..as well as the silvers.

So ya..anyways I guess I'll just sell this and use my 8890 until the N95 is out..or maybe a music edition n73 would do.
 
i can see the reasoning on selling your phone for the n95 but if sell it and then buy the n73 ME is beyond me, I mean whats the difference?im sure its just a FW fix and you'll have a ME in your hands..if you worry about the looks thats when CNN.CN comes in assuming they'll have it...
 
for those wondering on when N95 will be out, if you go to o2.co.uk, and go under coming soon it will be out in March 2007. So sell your phone now, so that you can get most out of it, since you said it was rare brown/white colour made in finland
 
I'm not sure how reliable 02's estimate may be but I'm beginning to think that they are right. March seems to be the month mentioned the most through various searches on the web and much speculation found here on hofo. I just finally got around to getting an N80ie and it seems that the initial bugs of the N80 have been rectified. This phone is rock solid thus far and the longer the n95 takes, the better IMO....plus i'm really lovin this n80
