n73 Themes " this application is not compatable"

I tried downloading some themes from zedge.net, i went to n73 themes and downloaded them to my computer, i then went to install said themes and i got an error message saying they were not compatable.

the extension is .sis for all files, is there something i'm missing?
 
on your phone: tools - app manager - settings - Software Installation: All, Online Certif. check: Off

that should fix it. Other than that, just make sure you're downloading 3rd Edition themes, which it sounds like you are.
 
then i would try some other themes. Symbianthemes.com I know has good themes. Just create an account (free) and select the N73 as your phone, they automatically filter the results for you. There's also a great thread in this forum, in the Themes subforum up top with themes by p@sco. I featured him on my blog and currently use his themes on my N73, they're stinkin fantastic, he really puts alot of effort into making sure they're complete.
 
I know that all of the themes from ownskin.com gives the error message prior to installing. You can continue with the installation anyway and it will install propelry. I'm not sure why many V3 themes do this but they seem to originate from sites that host the themes with some sort of ad in them. For example, ownskin only advertises that they own th rights to theme by replacing the theme iicon with their own. Small price to pay to create and download any theme you want....although they are on a pathetic server and cant handl the traffic anymore. When I first used their site it was fast as hell and now it's totally bogged down at all times.
