Many already know this...but here is the official Nokia statement:

Software downgrade is not allowed, due to BB5 security. In case older software is flashed, the phone does not boot up. USB flashing doesn’t work if phone cannot boot up. This can be fixed by flashing newer software or the same software that was previously used in the phone. This can be done only in level 3 service using phone specific adapter and prommer.

i saw a lot of improvement after using the phone for a while... the stuck in offline mode is gone.. plus the sound.. this was a good update.. and waiting for the new version..

thanks Candyman for posting

Now that I upgraded to the new "regular" firmware I get this weird bug where the phone will refuse to dial a number. It wont dial with the green call button from the contacts list or the call log and the only way to fix it is by restarting the phone. Anyone else have this problem?

This complaint makes no sense!?! If a new firmware for ANY phone isn't out yet, people are waiting (and a lot of phones don't even have user-upgradeable firmware). Once a new firmware comes out, people are not waiting for about 15 minutes, while their phone updates and then get back to waiting for the next version.
