I found that I'm actually using the phone's music feature now that I have a usable music player. Other than that, though, really, there's not much difference. It's kinda annoying to have to manually close the music player after every reboot, and for some reason, I have to restart Handy Taskman every time, aslo, where it used to auto-start.
If you're trying to decide whether to update, I'd say if you've got a 2GB card, go for it. If not, don't bother. There's really no major advantages/drawbacks in terms of stability that I've seen. Even if you have an iPod and don't htink you'd use the music feature, it's handy sometimes.
