The IE is better as it has everything the ME has, but the multimedia key doesn't open the music app, but the normal function, plus the music player doesn't stay open all the time like on me.
THE ie has some extra links and apss, so the ie is better.
But the ME comes btter accesorized with 2 gig card.
I was on IE firmware and just updated myself to latest ME (by accident). Is it possible to update to IE again? I've changed the product code to IE but nokia updater says that i've already got the latest firmware.
I've also got a game installed on memory card but when I tried to load it in games, nothing appears in there. I can still see the game app on memory card but I can't load/play it.
My personal experience with the ME vs IE is that the ME tends to be a decent bit more responsive. I do like the original function of the multimedia key, and I like the new music player so the IE seems like a no-brainer, but in practice I like the ME better. I will give the next IE version a shot when it comes out, but for now I would recommend the ME.
The only thing I like in ME is the # key for changing between profiles. I'm on the new ME firmware now and i read somewhere that it's supposed to be bit faster. I got like 3 secs lag a few times today so yeah.
Can anyone help me with the game bit?
The game was installed on memory card and after the firmware update, it's obviously gone from the phone. I can still see game under app manager on the memory card but I can't install it again or do anything with it.
When I upgraded my firmware I had toreinstall the games on my memory card. During the installation I was asked if I wanted to overwrite the game data, I opted not to so I could open up where I left off.
My experience with progs that appear in the menu but dont launch after a firmware upgrade is to either uninstall them (just click the C key while they're higlighted in the menu) or to reinstall them (at which point I'm asked if it's ok to overwrite them and I say yes--I dont really play games and would cry if I had to start from scratch, but with other programs, they usually keep their data elsewhere, so I don't believe that overwritting them does anything to the data that hasn't already been done one way or the other).
I'm probably going to update my firmware this weekend, I have vanilla right now and like someone else, I'd like the IE for the music player but retained use of the multi-media key, but I don't know. I had ME for a while on here and it felt slower than the vanilla, that's why I went back.

Thanks. Yeah, I never really use the music player (I dont care what people say) nothing comes close to my iPod. I do use the # key a lot to switch b/w general and 2nd profile (I believe that feature is missing on the IE edition).
I downloaded a game from the internet through my mobile phone. Is it possible to back up the game from phone to pc? I mean everytime i download it, it costs me 5 dollars.
Yeah the # key function is missing in IE. This key is very handy.
