N73: Lifetimer resettable?

Can the lifetimer on a Nokia phone (N73 to be specific) be reset by flashing the phone or by other means?

Just want to cover all areas when shopping for an used phone.

Don't think that's possible. I upgraded my N73 to N73ME (i.e. a complete flash of the phone) the other day and the lifetimer has not been reset.
 
I suggest you ask this at the gsmhosting forum site, it is possible with JAF flasher at least on some phones. It would fall under the category "other means". Or perhaps you can ask evan_silbert (of iunlock.com), he might know whether the N73 is susceptible to that. As the other poster said, it doesn't happen in normal flashing.
 
Life-timer : - The number of weeks since the phone was first booted up, I forget the key sequence to access it.

Lifer : - One serving a life sentence of loyalty imposed by Nokia/S60 creamy goodness.
 
If you buy a phone that is supposed to be new, it sucks if you check the lifetimer and it says it is several weeks old. And of course, it is not cool if someone used the phone and then had the lifetimer reset so they could sell it as new.
