N73 HYBRID: White/Plum

I finally got both my white faceplate, white keypad, and new screen protector for my N73 and thought I'd showcase it a bit, as per some members' requests.

I think the combination looks fantastic, though a bit feminine. The white is really brilliant for this phone and I think it looks really nice with the plum.

What's strange is that the keypad has actually been nicer to use than the original keypad that came with my N73. It seems like the grooves on the buttons isn't as raised as the first buttons were. Typing has been a lot faster and more accurate. Perhaps it was a Made in Finland part? (ha, jokes)

Well, after a quick look, it seems there are many available on ebay. Are official ones available? Is that what the term OEM refers to?

I bought mine from cnn.cn, which only sells OEM parts. You'll be taking a gamble if you try one out from eBay.

I like the white on 6681/2. But some reason the white on N73 doesn't look that good for me. Silver looks much better on N73..

I only bought the white faceplate and keypad, so I don't have a housing piece to donate to anyone.

As far as the process went, it was pretty easy, but I did break the silver faceplate when I took it off because I wasn't being careful. The instructions that exist floating around here and Google are kinda incomplete. I found it better to run a credit card between the faceplate and housing all along the phone to pop the clips. I tried to go through the keypad, like the guide suggests, but it didn't work very well at all.

I managed to do it through the keypad, and i still have a unbroken silver face!! LOL

I tried taking off face plate as instructed also, and cracked the music button key above c key so i said the heck with it haha, its like a hairline fracture cant even tell, i saw little dust in my screen and im so anal about that, anyway i had the white and mocha , now i have the silver and plum but i like the white look better personally, black overall might be the best look though.

nice thing...I like it. I have the silver/plum nokia n73, though I wanted white/red. It wasn't available in my country... ( I have a question...
How much is the transportation tax, because I want to buy one face plate too...

looks great.. i was thinking of doing that too... but i don't own a n73 lol...

i saw the red/white one the other day and don't like the red too much too pinkish.. i think the white/plum combo is the best by far!
