N73, Headphones come out, Music blares! Mute when headphones not present?

So the headphones on my N73 come out way way too easily, and I end up having my music blare accross the place (usually on a packed tube) until i fumble to put the headphones back in.

Has anyone got a solution? I was thinking maybe an alternative music player or some software so that when the headphones come out the music player does not continue to play through the phones speaker - i.e. it mutes, or pauses, or anything!

Thanks,

revs

what are you doing that the headphones come out? I changed the oil in my pickup yesterday, have washed it numerous times, and gone jogging with the headphones in the phone and the phone in my back pocket without a problem.

I just have the phone in my pocket.

When I move the headphone adapter must get pushed forward slightly, and then fall out, or at least become disconnected enough for the phone not to register that headphones are attached.

fine, an "option" would be to be able to turn on or off the prompt....you don't have options right now... your option would be listen through headphones or.. have it blasting if it disconnects for whatever reason.

Would you like this same option if you're in the middle of a phone call and you disconnect the headset? The call gets put on hold until you choose yes or no to a prompt?

Just wondering if that's something you'd like to see only for the music player or globally for all applications on the phone?

It's worthwhile to note that this feature could be added to a third-party music player.
