N73 firmware, language pack question

Pretty sure I searched thru the forums, but didnt come up with anything that fits my need...

Well.. here's the synopsis

I have a N73 that's O2 branded.

How do I...

1. flash a different firmware to debrand it

2. add traditional chinese language pack to the phone?

but IF something bad happens to your phone (aka bricked), dont come crying to us...try at your own risk.

Btw flashing it with unbranded fw wont unlock your phone.
 
I flashed my N73 from orange to an unbranded pack and everything went like a gem. Just make sure you do not touch either the phone of the pc when update is in progress

i will definetly look into it.

before i start flashing away, anything else that i should be aware of?

i think i can get it unlocked elsewhere, just that i want to get rid of the O2 branding (UK) and add traditional chinese in/output...
 
If it is just the branding you wish to remove then flashing the phone gets rid of it (I had the same problem with Orange as they infested the phone with their own crap), although it is risky. Adding a different language pack is not sore complicated as flyhen says above all u need to do is add the pack to the phone. On the other hand if you are wanting the phone unlocked then I am not really sure what you can do, but o2 shoul be able to help you.
