N73 - Can't upgrade it

Hello,

I posted this over at Neowin, then i was told this was the place to go

Here's the post;

Just updated my Nokia PC Suite, then i noticed you can update your Cell Phones Firmware through it.
So i started the process, closed down all programs on my PC ( Firewall, Anti-Virus etc. Just to be safe )
Did as i was told on-screen, Plug in the charger etc.

It Downloads a 65Mb Firmware upgrade, starts to upgrade ( It says the phone will reboot during this process )
and so it does, but then it just says the Upgrade has failed ... That's it.

I tried Re-installing the program, changing USB ports, tried another language on the phone etc.

Any advice on this matter for a Green N73 owner

keep trying it, or change your product code through nss and try it then

What is your current firmware version? You may have one of the unfortunate firmwares that will not let you upgrade, like I got stuck with from iunlock.com. The firmware I'm running is 3.0637.0.0.14.

im having same prob as well...same firmware too...AND i found out how to turn normal N73 into N73 music edition.
