N73 and Ericsson HCB-30 Car Kit

Has anyone got this combo to work?

I can get them to pair, but the car kit does nothing, no sound out of the speakers, the radio does not interrupt, but the end call button seems to function.

Works no problem with my N70 that has just retired.

Any Ideas?
 
if i am not mistaken, HCB-30 is BT V. 1.1... well, i have noticed that most of the new nokias are having issues with older version of BT, which should not be so, but apparently it is so and besides there are many reports of N73 in particular that are having strange BT behavior... try to update your phone's software/firmware to the latest one using Nokia Software Updater, better yet DL the latest Nokia PC Suite v. 6.82
 
well, try to do more twiking or if you can wait for the next sw update of your phone that might do the trick... btw, what is the sw version of your phone???
