N73 and 3-D tones... anyone use?

just got my new N73... btw,, made in Finland.. seems like when i put the settings on with the 3-D tones.. it always crashes the phone when making/receiving calls.. the screen freezes, won't allow me to enter any numbers, won't answer calls,, all sorts of weird stuff..
when i set the 3-D tones to off,, the phone acts normal. the setting is kinda cool.. anyone else with an N73 experience this?? thanks!
 
It's a Finnish set, that's why....
OK, I was just joking because I know people get very emotional over where the phones are made.
I suggest you to try resetting the phone or updating the firmware. It could also be due to the file you used as a ringtone or your memory card (if it's stored there). I never had this problem.
 
Does anyone actually like the way the 3-D tones sound? I personally think they sound like crap, that's why I don't use them. I tried with several different ringtones, and all of the different settings, and I just wasn't impressed, so I don't use them.
 
The only things that's cool is the sound effect of the train going by. If you tweak the settings just right, it really does sound like there's a train right in front of you. Other than that, no purpose.
 
I tried it for about a week, didn't really like it. I felt it didnt really punch out my ringtone. It did sound like a 3d effect but maybe not for ring tones.

I've never had it crashing on my phone so that doesn't seem normal. I just upgraded my firmware thru NSU also.
 
how do you do a hard reset? is the FW update an easy process to do? seems like i've been reading where it may be just a bundle of problems!!??
 
To hard reset and completely erase all data on the device and restore to factory settings type *#7370# (default lock code is 12345)

It's best that you backup all of your data first.
