I have a Nokia 5500 with t-mobile and i'm not too in detailed with what s60v3 has out at this moment.
I want chat on AIM, access my gmail internet which is pop3, Text people and possibly view the net. Now how i see it is i have 2 options, sign up for T-zones $5.99 or go for texting plan i think its 400 for $5. I know i cant do all that i want but i would like to see whats my best bang for the buck.
1. From what it looks like since i have pop3 and when i went into "messaging", i can set up my phone to read email thru texting, well that what it looks like. I need someone to confrim that i can read and write emails thru this and it credit as a text.
2. AIM, there is an IM program already on my 5500 but it looks to be a generic one and i have no clue how it works and if it needs to connect to the net. Either way i dont like the way it looks and i dont really want to use it. To my knowledge all IM programs run off data, which means t-zones.
So in my eyes right now if i get the T-zones, i would be able to do all the things i want, other then Texting. But honestly i rather have a texting plan, since email should be a little faster and more prompt. I can text other ppl easily and i'm hoping there is a AIM program on texts
