n 70 vs n70 me vs n72 vs n73 vsn80

Why make sure its s60 3rd edition???

s60 2nd edition has all the free software.... 3rd edition you have to pay for everything!!!

The guy says he don't got alot of money to spend... i'd say get a n70...... The phone comes with opera built in or downloadable for free there are many free programs for this!!! i'd say n70!

Just as RCADDEN said, the app argument doesn't apply anymore as the 3rd edition apps have caught up. Besides 3rd edition means that you keep up with latest development. As some newer 3rd edition app won't be available for 2nd edition. Like I'm not sure there is the podcasting app for 2nd edition.

On top of that these newer 3rd edition phones have tweaks and better interface that make it worthwile.

I would like to add to this debate:

n 70 vs n70 me vs n72 vs n73 vsn80 vs n93 vs n93i vs e65 vs n95 vs e90 vs v3 vs v3i vs v3x vs vmi vs vmax vs vtek vs v vs u vs j vs k vs z vs u vs vs vs vs

....anyone care to comment on which one and why?

Ok name a good free mulitple instant messanger program for s60v3? One that lets you log into like AIM, Yahoo at the same time??

And please no java applets...

how about fring? That allows IM for Google Talk and MSN Messenger. And voice for Skype.
that's free.

but paid there is agile and IM+.

eqo is also a free aim, msn, yahoo, google etc etc im program.

Ok but if you can use a loophole, then I can use java apps. Still that's one app.

I'm a pretty heavy 3rd party app user. When I set my new phones up, I have 29 apps that I go through and install before I even start using my phone. The only 2 apps that are available on 2nd Edition and not on 3rd that I miss are ControlFreak and NetFront. ControlFreak, you can use Salling Clicker instead, and Netfront is replaced mostly by the new Web browser on 3rd Edition.
