Mystery disease need help

Okay, so I'm doing this research for a close friend. He has struggled for a long time with some debilitating symptoms. He has benign muscle tremors, muscle spasms not controlled by muscle relaxers, migraines, hallucenations, chest pain, and palpitations.

He has had multiple tests run including tests for Multiple Sclerosis, which was negative. And also had a study that found he had an extra brain signal they couldn't account for.

Any suggestions? Where should he go from here?

Thanks,
Liz

The nearest non-profit teaching hospital. The biggest one your friend can afford to get to (drive, fly). USA Today has a list of the top 100 hospitals in the US, if you can find one close by all the better.

I'd start with a neurologist, due to the "extra brain signal" and signs of dysautonomia.

It can seem sometimes that doctors only dx A B or C, if you have D, or heaven forbid Z disease, dx can take awhile! Big teaching hospitals tend to be more intune with the D thru Z part of the medical alphabet.
