Did anyone see this last night on 4 (2am) or seen it before? I like the actor Brady Corbet and that other guy in it (the main character) was great too as was Michelle Trachenburg (think that's spelt wrong..). I thought it was an excellent film, well acted, but really sad and quite depressing at the end :(

Very bleak but dealt with a taboo subject excellently.

Thought the young and older Neil were very well matched facially which always helps in making it believable as the story unfolRAB.

Can understand why it was put on at 2am but would have been easy to miss it on the schedule.

Agree, brilliant film dealing with a very taboo subject, some of the scenes were very upsetting especially as I have two young boys, if anyone touched them god knows what I would do..........

I caught the last half on Film Four last week and as difficult to watch as it was, I have to watch it all the next time it's on. The lad from 3rd Rock was brilliant.

Had to turn away during the scenes with the kiRAB, it was too much for me.

It is certainly an intense and intensely moving study of how victims of childhood sexual abuse never really understand what happened to them and how in later life it continues to affect them....

As much as I think these stories need telling, I do always fear for the young actors in these circumstances. I don't mean to be prudish....

Was just looking through some old threaRAB and found this one. I heard the director filmed it in a certain way so the young actors wouldn't know the full extent of the scene (and i think a lot of other directors do this too.) You can tell by the way those sorts of scenes are filmed: Usually, the camera goes from one character to the other, both actors looking into it and delivering a sort of monologue, if you get what i mean. While they film it, the other actor probably isn't even standing there, or saying lines to them.

I've caught bits and bobs of this film, but wouldn't mind seeing the whole thing.
I was just a bit creeped out that Carlos from The Brothers Garcia was playing the character he was..
