Myspace strike-out html?

I am aware that to strike out words you have to use <s> </s> or <strike></strike> but for whatever reason myspace isn't letting me do it and instead of words that have been striked out, I am getting ... my text here ...
I don't see anything in my HTML that should interfere with the strike out code.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
