MySpace HTML and CSS Layout in IE to Firefox.?

Hi,

I have a layout on my MySpace profile that I designed over a year ago using CSS and HTML. I was using Internet Explorer at the time. I recently got Mozilla Firefox to try it out. I like it and am sticking to it. However, there are things in my layout that are not showing up properly in Firefox (some of the background colors, scroll bar colors, and hyperlinks). Is there a way to convert coding that works in Internet Explorer to new coding that works in Firefox? If so, how can this be done? Can you add in new coding (for Firefox) to the old coding (for Internet Explorer) that is intended to do the same thing? In other words, the one already in there can be left in there so the layout continues to show up properly for Internet Explorer users and a newer body of coding that does the same thing but is only translated by Firefox can be added in... or would the two conflict with each other in some way and cause problems?

I am very unfamiliar with how Firefox works.
