Hi, Just wanted to warn people about the poor service I have received from mymoviestream.com.

I have been with them for almost two weeks now and they have not sent one disc despite having sufficient films in my queue as requested. I have emailed twice now to see if there is a problem and they have not replied once. I have today cancelled with them as I cannot be bothered to wait any longer! They were quick however to take the first payment off me.

I have now gone back to Lovefilm as they offered me 3 months for free.

Another point to mention about MyMovieStream is that they announced yesterday that they have stopped their free trial offering, changing in favour of a reduced fee for the first month. They previously offered a 14-day unlimited disc free trial, but are now offering the first month at half-price on all of their packages.

Perhaps this means that they are struggling a bit at the moment, i.e. having to restrict the number of new customers they take on; your experience would suggest they are not coping as well as they were.

I'd not actually heard any negative comments about them before yours, their service has one of the best reputations around; having said that though if they have grown too quickly it probably wouldn't take long for things to get on top of them.
