MY5 Rogers Plans

So it's about time I change my plan again and I was wondering about the MY5 Plans:

$30 MY5 (Canada-wide)
Pick 5 friends, on Any network. Get unlimited Local Talk and Text

In short, yes.

In full:
The easiest way to think of the billing system is a series of yes/no questions. Every time you make or receive a call, the questions go in this order:

1) Is the other person you're talking to in your 5?

2) Is it between the hours of 9pm and 7am? (or earlier if you buy early evenings)

3) If none of the above apply, these are daytime minutes.

Once the systems answers yes, it's done. That's the category it puts your call under. In you case, it shouldn't matter because both the 5 and the E/W are Unltd.. But on the $25 My5 with 1000 E/W instead of Unltd. it surely will.

Obviously if you add in roaming, long distance, etc. the series of questions gets more complicated. But that should cover the basics for what you asked and what most people need to know for daily use.

Hope that helps you!

With My5, do incoming calls from those 5 numbers also count as part of the My5 unlimited minutes?

thanks,

For anyone debating the My5 plans, be aware that until the end of January you get those 5 numbers Canada-wide on all My5 plans - even the $25.

You must be in Canada and your 5 numbers must be Canadian-based phones, type or carrier doesn't matter.

Also until the end of Jan there is a student plan available that gives you 10 numbers instead of 5 for any full-time students at a Canadian accredited college / universtity.

PM or PIN me if you need details. (Watch out, watiting for my DOA replacement for my Curve. My PIN will be changing soon, but I'll change it in my account here as well.)
