I just put a rebuilt motor in it and a new stator but for somereason when i go to turn it on it sounds like im not getting any compression and i cant figure out why. So if anyone could help me i would really aprreciate it. Thank you

does it turn over?
has it been sitting? bad gas? who put in the starter?

timing and firing order. did you accidentally switch the wires around?
take the plugs out and check condition.

plug spark plugs into wires and with rubberized pliers hold the threads of the plug on the case and turn it over. any spark?

if you do not have a compression gauge, put the plugs in without wires. put your hand over exhaust. crank it any pressure?

if there is spark and no compression, im guessing your timing chain fell of when you took out your starter. go to bikebandit.com and look for your model. check out the diagrams for how it goes together. if you have a rubbery valve cover gasket than will not need to be replaced when removed, take it off and check it out. chain loose? anything broken?
