my Yamaha grizzly 660 starts missing when put in deep water but you can spray water

all over the motor and ok? Ive sprayed water all over the motor with a water hose and it wont miss but if I hit a deep water hole fast it starts missing can anybody help with any ideas
 
When you hit water at speed it is a lot different than just spraying water on the motor. Maybe you are getting some water into the air intake tube. I had that problem so I installed a snorkel that took the intake tube over top of the plastic and never had the problem again. I can't guarantee that that is the trouble but it cured mine.
