My XV6900 (HTC touch) on verizon broke, i have insurance. will it be replaced?

i heard that if it's discontinued they replace it with it's current equivalent. if they replace it, what would its equivalent be?

If they still have that phone in their warehouse, you'll probably get the same model. And if you have insurance, it probably will be replaced, but you might have a deductible to pay.
