my xr70r honda dirtbike wont shift from neutral to first and it gets stuck in

neutral whats wrong? it wont shift only shifts sometimes and it gets stuck in neutral and then i have a hard time shifting back to neutral once i get it out of neutral and i dont know whats wrong with it.
