My Xbox 360 started to make my screen flash between red and green, but the cables

are in correctly?
my TV is not HD, and it's about 2-3 yrs old
there is now no picture
its my xbox that is 2-3 years old

my TV was bought brand new about a year ago and the digi box works fine in the same -spark plug-
 
Well, I agree with everyone else. But it could just be your TV. If you got it from a yard sale it is bound to be more than 3 years old. All that I would recommend is to do the stuff everyone else said, and then go to yardsales looking for a new TV. A yardsale TV lasts long enough until you buy a fancy new one.
