my Xbox 360 is not showing the graphics a xbox should like it won't show video on...

...tv. need help.? My dad took my xbox apart cleaned it and what not and turned it on but still no video, and we think that the video card or graphics card is broken and its not because the cables are broken. And we can't reset video options because the video won't show on tv and we can't see where the settings are. help
