i got my xbox around march 2009, and every time i would play, my xbox console would make LOUD sounds, which i learned it was just the xbox cooling down.
today i went to turn on my 360 and the console made a weird noise then stayed quiet, but the black box(the black box is the box that plugs into your console then plugs into a electricity outlet) made even louder sounds and some new weirder ones.
the black box never made any sound at all, and if it did it wasn't loud and noticeable. my xbox is still turning on. iv'e only went to the xbox live home page. (the one which is when you turn on your console and it brings you to a home page where you can look at market place,events, and all that stuff.)
i haven't tried playing a game yet and i kinda don't want to.
what's wrong with my xbox?

am i getting the Rrod? the light on my console stays green.
