My Xbox 360 is flashing red what's wrong with it?

Ok there are three red ring things showing according to the booklet it only overheats when it shows two red rings and if it's four red rings then there's something wrong with the joy stick but it's not, it's instead showing three red rings and it has packed up and I'm getting no signal on t.v.. What's wrong with it? if you know?
 
Red ring of death. if it happened within 3 years, call microsoft and they will give you a new one
