My xbox 360 doesn't detect the music and videos from my media sharing WMP11, but...

...they connect fine.? It can see my computer, says the name.
But it shows no music or videos on the xbox.
I have them in WMP11.
 
You first must add these music files to the "public" folder. All folders that you want to share media in are located in this folder. I'm using Vista, but on your PC try typing "public" in the address bar of an open window.

Now i'm not sure if any more options need to be configured but I think that should work.

Your music has to be in the "My Music" folder,videos in "My Videos" & photos in "My Pictures" on your PC.
Also your media settings for each folder has to be checked (ticked) in your media player settings (go to library/media sharing)
You also need to download the optional media update for your Xbox360 (found in marketplace...it's free!)
