My wireless Sprint 4g Internet card is pulgged in, but it says no device detected?

I just got it a couple hours ago and I installed the software, only now it isn't showing up and theres a little green light flashing (the one that says I can get 3G coverage)
The little light blinks green (but occasionally red, even though I smack in the middle of San Antonio Texas)
