My wireless mouse stoped working. How do i fix it?

I tried changing the batteries and its still not working. The scroll ball on the mouse is working and i can click with the mouse but i cant move the arrow around i have to use my touch pad on my laptop to move the arrow around. Can anyone tell me want to have to do to fix it? Thanks
