Every time I use either the DVD Maker or Movie Maker that came with Windows Vista (I'm using Home Premium) it always crashes and says "Windows Movie Maker/DVD Maker has stopped working" and then restarts the program if I don't click cancel. It happens only when I add videos to the project, but not for photos! I've only ever used DVD Maker once successfully and that was when I first got my computer!

Does anyone else have this problem?? I saw on the Microsoft website that others had had this problem and that the service pack 2 would help it, but it hasn't!! PLEASE HELP! I'm really tired of this always happening! 10 POINTS FOR BEST ANSWER!!

Yeah, it's a Windows Vista issue. The only thing that ever seems to help me solve that kind of problem is restarting my computer and then making sure I work with the program giving me trouble while I have as few as possible other programs open. There's nothing you can really do about it short of using a computer with Windows XP or some other OS on it, because it's just a fault with the development of Windows Vista--it's the worst thing Microsoft has come out with.
