Ok, I know the problem. Open the little door on the front of the wii and take the battery cover off of the wii remote. There should be red buttons on both of them. Push them both at the same time to make them connect to one another. You should only have to do this once.

and it wont work. i tryed turning it off and on. i even changed the batteries! help me! i just got it like 2 weeks ago
the wii remote works fine...

Try recharging the batteries if they are Rechargeable or replacing them with new ones. Another idea is turning off the wii and restarting it.

The same happened to me you have to take out the batteries and change them is that still doesnt work check the settings to make sure the guitar is wirelessly connected with the Wii.

hope that helps.

If you are using the Fender Stratocaster Rock Band Guitar:

1) Ensure you have fresh batteries in the Wireless Guitar
2) Insert receiver into USB hub
3) Turn on Guitar via switch on back.
4) If both the guitar and the USB receiver is flashing blue, then press the guitar logo button until flashing blue light on the receiver stops flashing.
