my vodafone 541's touch screen is not responding how can i get it to work again?

i dont really know what happend but my phone's touch screen is suddenly not responding.....well the lower part is working perfectly allright but the upper part is not responding at all.....what do i do??any help plz...plz give me some advice that can be done to repair the phone...
