For about 5 years now, I've been using a modem from Verizon that only downloads 125 kb/s, and I've been seeing people are downloading for 800 kb/s or 1 mb/s, and I feel like I'm being cheated on what I'm paying for.
I've tried to get the FIOS to increase my internet speed, but since a tree hit my house about 2 years, I had to use something else for power. It's hard to explain, but I'm using the power from a box on the side of my house. It doesn't allow FIOS to be installed, and I can only use a DSL modem.
