I do not have gap insurance and the bank is Ally (GMAC). I settled with the insurance company yesterday for $17 less than what I owe the bank and the payment will be made directly to the bank. My problem involves the refund I'm due from the extended warranty. This will be refunded to the bank as well. Once this happens, the bank will have received $1600 more than the loan. Will they refund this to me or can they apply it to the new vehicle they will be financing?
My vehicle was totaled and the payoff is more than I owe, now what?
