My unread emails are no longer bold. How can I restore them?

All of a sudden my unread emails are no long bold. I can not find out how to restore them back to being in bold print. The only thing I have found is something about a blackberry effecting the unread emails, however, I do not have a blackberry. Any easy fixes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
