My University Transcript?

If I drop a class now will a "W" or similar note will appear on my university transcript.

Is it bad to have a "W" or similar note will appear on my university transcript.
 
Yes it is bad but it is better than a "F" grade because W's don't affect your overall GPA.

I think 1-2 W's will be acceptable and maybe you can explain in college essay why you ended up W.

From what I hear from counselors, having several W's, that is more than 3, can be bad overall.
