So I had an expensive bike locked outside with a U-lock (recommended) that had a circular key. It was my first time leaving my bike at the train station, and to my surprise both my bike and lock we're gone when I got back. I triple checked to make sure it was locked correctly and that no one was taking it...
Apparently if you use a pen shaft you can easily break into these circular key locks and have off with whatever it was protecting. Now I'm out a $4000 dollar bike and a job till I get a new bike AND a lock that works!!
Shouldn't the lock company be held somewhat accountable for creating a faulty product? Or am I just screwed?
