My TV wont stop showing green and red colors!!! Please Help!?

I was playing Modern Warfare 2 and half of the screen started looking like it was covered in green slime, and then when I backed out the screen was flashing black and green, spazing out. And it looked like there were green and red dots and smudges on the screen. And then, when I turned it off, and back on it wouldnt even show up. There were no red rings, and it didnt sound wierd. So please help me, maybe its my xbox, or my TV which one...
 
If your TV makes picture from a different console or for your cable itself then it is your xbox. If not, your tv. Simple as that. Do a quick test, put something else on the tv or the xbox on a different tv.
